Welcome to health care magic.

1.First thing is the straightening of the spine with loss of normal lordosis is due to any nerve irritation or pain.
2.Scoliotic deformity is one we have to think of - but there is no mentioned fractures - so it can be positional.
3.The osteoid growth are osteophytes which are seen as a degenerative changes in the spine.
4.These growths are causing the pressure effect on the exiting nerve and causing pain and neck stiffness.
5.Treatment is exercises followed by physiotherapy. If there is any chance get an MRI cervical spine - which will gives more information about nerve , disc and so on.

Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query,
any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask.
