What Does Sudden Numbness In Hand And Incoherent Speech Indicate?

Okay, a few days ago, my arm went numb and I could not talk correctly. This happened for like 20 seconds and then everything went back to normal. My family thinks that I had a mini stroke and I do not know what to say about this. I have been feeling great lately, other than the fact that I feel as if my other arm is having trouble circulating blood through it. Is this a sign of something serious?

hi
After going through your symptoms i think you had a condition called TIA-transient ischemic attack. In this condition the blood circulation to one part of your brain controlling arm muscles and speech muscles was transiently interrupted.I would suggest you to see physician and get relevant investigations like ct brain and carotid doppler done. You will definately benifit from tablet aspirin and statin to prevent a major stroke. Also check if you are having other risk factorslike diabetes.
wish u good health!!
thanks
