What Does Stool Test As Entamoeba Coli Suggest?
Hi Doctor,I want to ask about my father s case .. He s 52 years old and he s done stool test and the result is :color brown, Mucus ++, vegetable cells some, starch few, Pus cells 50-55/HPF , RBCs 2-4/HPF & protozoa some entamoeba coli cysts .. And i m concerned and need to know if there s a treatment for his case .Thank you .

You are suffering from colitis (intestine infection) due to protozoa (entamoeba coli).
This is indicated by presence of cysts of entamoeba coli,pus cells and RBC in stool.
You need medicines like metronidazole.
You should take adequate fluids.
