What Does Soft Tissue Build Up In The Shaft Indicate?

I went to the urologist to day. My results indicated that build up in the soft tissue is present in the shaft of the shaft. He wants to use ultrasound waves/blast to break up the plaque build up. It is not FDA approved. Does it really work at 2400.00? I am RN - ICU and it seemed a little snake oil to me.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have what is called as Plaque in shaft of the penis .

Most of the time these calcified plaques get resolved of their own over a period of 2 years and no treatment is required .

However surgery is advised if one has penile curvature that hinders the penetration of vagina during intercourse .

It is not advisable to blast the plaque with ultrasound waves .
