What Does Sinus Bradycardia Means?

the results of a ekg last week,( 12 lead ) indicated- marked sinus bradychardia , as well as borederline rythym. I am 62 male, work out 3 times a week for 1.5 hours wk. and am asymptomatic of any cardio related problems. following data: rate 48, pr194, qt472/452msec,qrsd92msec,p axis52,qrs axis29, &t axis49; am very healthy w/no medical problems. should i be concerned?

Hi,

Was it a resting heart or random. Slow heart is always a matter of concern. It's possible it may a normal rate for you, if you are a athlete. Still one thyroid function test, potassium, calcium, magnesium levels and holter monitoring should be done, just to be on a safer side. I guess you are not on medicine.
