What Does Severe Bloating, Delayed Periods And Weight Gain Indicate?
Hello, I m concerned..I have never in my life missed a menstrual cycle except with my son. Always on the 26-28th day with bad cramps. This month I am 10 days late..however I have very very light spotting off and on the past 3 days. No cramps no positive pregnancy test. I am severely bloated to where it s getting very uncomfortable and gaining weight fast in the past 2 weeks. I had an ectopic pregnancy exactly 2 years ago..but I have no pain. What could this be???
You may be required to undergo the following blood investigations to confirm or rule out hypothyroidism; CBC, thyroid function tests, Prolactin level, serum cholesterol, etc.
Once diagnosis of hypothryoidism is established you need to take Levothyroxine as a replacement therapy.
Hope this answers your query. Best regards.

What Does Severe Bloating, Delayed Periods And Weight Gain Indicate?
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM. I appreciate your concern for the present symptoms. I have gone through your problems described in the query, I am of the opinion that you have some sort of hypofunctioning of the thyroid gland. Bloating sensation, delayed periods and weight gain with irregular periods are suggestive of hypothyroidism.
