What Does Red And Swollen Rash Behind The Ear Indicate?
My daughter was bit by something behind her ear, and I didn t notice it until after we came in from outside. There was a small area that looked like a mosquito bite, but all under and around it was a bit red and swollen and very hard. I took her to the walk in clinic and they just told me to give her allergy meds and ice it. Is there anything else I can do? Any idea what may have caused this?

Thank you for query.it may be due to insect bites or allergies.Continue the allergic medicines given.Usually they subside on its own.You need not worry.you can apply calamine lotion for soothe the rash if itching.if does not subside you can consult doctor.
