What Does "no Active Parenchymal Infiltrates Seen In The Lungs" Mean In Roentgenological Report
my roentgenological report says "no active parenchymal infiltrates seen in the lungs" Does this mean I have infiltrates but are not active? I had breast cancer 6 years ago. I am now 73 yrs old, 160 lbs. 5ft. I was diagnosed with DCIS 2004 my left breast completely taken out. I now follow up with my onco annually.
No,it doesn't mean that there are infiltrates but are not active. It means that lung fields are clear. You have absolutely normal findings and there is nothing to be worried about. You should go for follow up annually as advised by your doctor.
