Hello and welcome to HCM,

Weight loss of 17 kg (over ? duration not mentioned) is significant.
Weight loos occurs in chronic diseases like tuberculosis and malignancies.
Increased broncho-vascular markings do not signify any disease process per se.
However, bilateral hilar prominence has to be investigated,
Hilar prominence can be due to enlarged lymph nodes or due to a mass lesion.
However, the hilar prominence may not be significant as suggested by your doctor.
There could be some other lesion in some other organ. organ system responsible for the symptom of weight loss.

I would suggest you to get a second opinion for the hilar prominence.
Along with this, a complete body examination is required to look for abnormality of some other organ/ organ system.

Thanks and take care
