What Does Pressure On Cervix And Tightening In Uterus Indicate During Pregnancy?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and all day today I have felt sick and have had constant period like pains and I feel a lot of pressure on my cervix also gettting some tightening of the uterus , I'm 3/5ths engaged and have been for 4 weeks but I feel the baby has dropped even more. This is my third pregnancy,could I be in early labour?

Well it may be possible that you are in your early labour, though the membranes have not ruptured, nor the baby is completely engaged...but because you are a multigravida, it may not take the same long time as your first pregnancy to progress through stages...
A per-vaginal examination would reveal more at this stage, so I would suggest you to go to your gynaecologist or an emergency care for an examination...following that, the next steps can be taken....
