What Does Presence Of Gram Positive Bacilli In Urine Culture Of A Toddler Suggest?
hi, my 4 yr old kid(Female) had urinary infection.After consultation and urine culture test with doc, he prescribed antibiotics for one weeek.We waited till cource completion and after another one week, again urine culture taken result is ---smear -no pus cells.moderate number of gram positive bacilli seen result-no growth in culture. What does this means?anything to worry.

I really appreciate your concern, if the baby is asymptomatic then no need to worry about this such finding may be normal one in absences of symptoms, better to give her more drinking water, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
