What Does Positive Leukocytes In Urine Test Indicate?
I ve had RUQ pain for weeks, and saw my doctor. He ordered an ultrasound of my GB. I m waiting for follow up appt. I ve also had pain in my right shoulder blade that started at the end of March, thought it was completely unrelated until I looked into gallbladder symptoms. The nurse said my ultrasound was negative for gallstones and I can discuss with my doctor. I ve also had pain in my lower back for about a week so I took an at home UTI test and the results were negative for nitrites but positive for leukocytes, it was in the 500+ Range. Do you think I m having gallbladder problems with no stones or kidney problems? I m in a lot of pain and tired of waiting. Just need to get relief. I did have a kidney infection last June which landed me in the hospital. Thanks

You may have urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
