What Does No Fetal Pole Or Yolk Sac Seen In The Uterus Mean?

hi,i am 23 yrs old and married.my last LMP was march 29th.on may 6th i did urinary pregnency test and was week positive.then i consult a doc and said to take a usg scan.i did scanning on may 16th.and the result was uterus is enlarged with an intrauterine gestational sac of 12*6mm seen in uterine cayity.no fetal pole or yolk sac seen.both ovaries normal in size and echotexture.no adnexal mass and pod is clear.what it means?am i pregnent?pls clarify my doubt.

You can wait for another 2 weeks and get a repeat ultrasound done. at present the sac size is small. yolk sac should be seen when the sac size reaches 20 mm and fetal pole should be seen when when size of sac reaches 25 mm. you are pregnant but how the pregnancy(healthy/unhealthy) is you will come to know after a repeat scan.
