impression:ptb residual, both upper lobes diagnosis: the ct images reveal a pleural based calcification of abt 15x15x6mm(LxWxAP) in the apico -posterior segment of the upper lobe.there are fibroid infiltrates on both apices. the heart is not enlarged . there are no enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes. no pleural effusion seen. the vissualized portion of the liver ,spleen, and adrenals are unremarkable. no abnormal enhancement noted

Hello Thanks for writing to HCM According to reports there is pleural based calcification of about 15 x 15 x 6 mm in the apico -posterior segment of the upper lobe with fibrotic infiltrates in both apices.It is most likely due to past history of tuberculosis.It doesn t require any treatment.
