What Does My Pap Smear Report Mean?

Currently having vaginal discharge with fish smell. Went to dr. for it a couple weeks ago, wet mount was negative, and was told that pap was normal. I was given script for diflucan. Took 2 pills 2 days apart, problem left. It's back again. I just read my pap smear report from 2wks ago and it has this statement: Predominance of Coccobacilli consistent with shift in vaginal flora.
What is this?

Hello and welcome to HCM
The interpretation of the Pap report is as follows:
Vaginal discharge with fishy odour is suggestive of infection.
There is presence of cocco-bacilli in the pap test.
Normally, lactobacilli are present in vaginal flora.
In case of infection there is change in vaginal pH and thus change in flora of the vaginal tract.
The change in pH and baginal flora leads to shift from lactobacilli which is rod shaped bacteria to round bacteria which is spherical.
You need to take a course of antibiotic and repeat the pap test after completion of antibiotic.
