What Does My Liver Function Test Report Indicate?

Hi I am 36 yrs old My Cholestrol is high these are the details for cholestrol .Cholestrol total:212 mg/dl ,triglycerides 333 mg/dl ,HDL :33.60 mg/dl ,LDL : 143 mg/dl ,VLDL :35.4 mg/dl ,Non HDL:178 mg/dl My Liver Function Test details are Bilrubun total 0.42 mg/dl ,bilrubin Direct :0.07 mg/dl ,bilrubin indirect:0.35 mg/dl ,SGOT :40 U/L,SGPT : 34 U/L,GGTP:28 U/L,ALP:121 U/L,total protein :7.20 g/dl, Albumin:4.48 g/dl, gRatio : 1.65 My blood sugar fasting is 102 mg/dl Doctor suggested me Rozavel F 10 mg 2 times a day kindly suggest for fast reduction in cholestrol

Hi & Welcome to HCM.

Liver Function Test report appears to be within the normal range.

However, as far as the lipid profile is concerned the levels of total cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL cholesterol are raised for which your doctor has prescribed Rozavel-F tablet.

Rozavel-F Tablet contains Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate which are effective in reducing the high cholesterol and triglyceride levels respectively.

In addition to prescribed medications you need to have certain life style modifications for maximum benefits like

1. Avoid alcohol and smoking if you are consuming.
2. Avoid fatty meals, red meat, egg yolks, canned meat.
3. Eat plenty of green vegetables and fruits.
4. Do regular exercise.
