What Does My Colonoscopy Report Indicate?

the doctor proceeded with my colonoscopy when my bowel prep was suboptimal, one hyper plastic polyps (benign)was found and one adenoma polyp (precancerous)and suggested that I take another colonoscopy in 3 years, my bowel prep was suboptimal, could there have been polyps that were not visible to the doctor also being that my prep was suboptimal and a pre cancerous polyp was found shouldn t I be taken another colonoscopy sooner than 3 years?
