Suggest Remedy For Vaginal Burning And Itching

I m having burning and itching of the vagina, and an area on the inner vagina that appears to be a rash but no sores or lumps. I have whitish discharge that comes out in really tiny clumps however, it is not a lot and isn t noticeable unless i look at my genitals in the mirror . I recently treated for BV and yeast infection and i am currently on amoxicillin, and clarithromycin as well as lansoprazole for H pylori and I take doxycycline for acne, also last month was treated for chlamydia with arzithromycin. Could all these antibiotics be contributing to this discomfort? Or does this sound more like an STD, or yeast infection or BV?

Hi, Welcome to Ask a doctor services. I have read your query & it looks like you should continue the prescribed medications for Chlamydia, do not scratch & apply calamine ointment to get relieve from itching, you can also use a water based vaginal moisturizer for lubrication as dryness will aggravate itching.

Burning sensation is either due to UTI or STD. Visit ER, get CBC, Urinalysis & tests for STI done to rule out STD. In the meantime take care of your hygiene, do not use douches or perfumes soaps, avoid sex & get your sexual partner also have all the tests done. Eat food rich in calcium, protein & keep yourself well hydrated.Take care.
