I have not had any food or drink in 24 hours and i have a blood glucose level of 119. I am 64 inches tall and weigh 265 lbs and female. I have not been diagnosed with diabetes yet. I was diagnosed with gestational hypoglycemia 11 years ago. I'm wondering if it being at 119 now shows signs of pre diabetes?
dear madam I understand your concern.in my opinion your weight is little more for your height.fasting sugar >100 is called as impaired fasting glucose.in other words pr diabetes.but relax Notting to feel bad about that.just follow few steps you can become normal again. 1. from now cut down coke and Pepsi.no refine carbs like sugar 2. do daily exercise and concentrate on weight reduction.if you loose 10% of your weight your risk of developing diabetes will go back by 30%. 3. dont stress up your life 4.dont skip meal .take balanced meal with good protein and little carbs 5. take only low fat milk 6.pray to god daily for inner peace. regards....enjoy healthy life......
