General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
Thank you for contacting HCM.

I have gone through your MRI report and will try my best to explain it to you. There are two primary areas of concern when describing spinal canal stenosis. The first is the central spinal canal and the second are the exiting neural foraminae. What your report suggests is that there is small area of disc protrusion in addition to tiny bony growths which are indenting the thecal sac which is the covering over the spinal cord. From your report it appears that there is no significant spinal stenosis and I would recommend you consult your local neurophysician to rule out neck rigidity or neck pain after detailed clinical evaluation and provide you further management accordingly. Rest of the findings in your report are in accordance with the normal cervical spine structures.

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if
you have any concerns.
Wishing you good health.
