What Does Moderate Sinus Disease In Maxillary Sinuses On CT Scan Suggest?

Hi- A recent CT scan showed: Moderate sinus disease mostly in the bilateral maxillary sinuses with partial obstruction of bilateral ostiomeatal complex. I have a bit of a wait til I can see an ENT at the VA hospital. What can you tell me about this? Thanks! Krista

hello, thanks for your query, mild-25, moderate- 50, severe- 75, very severe or profound- 100 percent. now you define d disease. any way , blockage in osteomeatal complex requires surgery. hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
