What Does Minimal Right Upper Lobe PTB From Chest X-ray Suggest?

Last 2006 i had chest x-ray & as far as i remember, finding says i have suspicious infiltrates at theright upper lobe.
i've just disregard it cause i just had chest x-ray before & findings were normal.
i have delivered twins last 2009 but i never undergo chest x-ray again.
i got work last year but i was excempted from taking chest x-ray since i got pregnant w/ my 3rd child.
i recently had chest x-ray exam last july 14 & findings show i have ill-defined densities on the right upper lobe. Heart is normal in size. Diaphragm is intact. Bony thorax is unremarkable & IMPRESSION: minimal right upper lobe PTB.
i was alarmed since i got 3 kids & im breastfeeding my 2month-old-baby.
is my condition worse or am i possible for contagious disease?
please help.

Hello

It to too early to conclude tuberculosis.
You may need lordotic view of chest X-ray.This special view for apical regions helps in better assessment because apical area is covered by ribs, clavicle etc.
Infiltrates may be due to pneumonitis, tuberculosis etc.
Empirically this condition need broad spectrum antibiotics.
If findings persists then you may need further work-up for tuberculosis.
You need immediate evaluation as it may be contagious.

Get well soon.
Take Care
