What Does Minimal Bilateral Maxillary Sinusitis Mean?

Sir,
My Radio-graph of PNS is as follows:
Nasal septum is middle.
Turbinate hypertrophy is noted.
Slightly haziness in bilateral maxillary sinuses
Sinus body walls are intact
Impression: Minimal bilateral maxillary sinusitis.
What does it mean? Will it be cured by medicines or Surgery required?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the x ray report you have mentioned.
No need to worry much for this x ray report.
Bilateral minimal maxillary sinusitis is mostly due to bacterial infection.
And this can be treated through medicines only.
Do following things for better symptomatic relief.
1. Do steam inhalation 4-5 times a day.
2. Avoid oily and spicy food.
3. Take broad spectrum antibiotic like levofloxacin or Azithromycin.
4. Take combination of antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs.
5. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
