Urologist 's  Response
Hello Ashley and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
The CT scan is suggestive of infection in both kidneys, with right kidney failure. You need to do:
1. blood routine, creatinine,RBS,LFT,uric acid and electrolytes.
2. urine routine and culture, with urine ACR.
3. isotope renogram to estimate individual kidney function.
With all reports,a proper advice, regarding further treatment can be given.
If you've any doubts, send the reports to me as a direct question.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
