What Does Itching After Taking The Gonorrhea Medications Indicate?

hi i had gonorrhea and i got the antibiotic and took the 4 pills and the big white pill and that was two days ago and i drank after i took it at a event i was at about 6 mixed drinks does that have a effect on tha antibiotic and also now i have itching does that mean the prescription is working

I can understand your concern for itching after taking the gonorrhea medications.

Let me first reassure you that taking gonorrhea medication had no effect on itching all over your body. It also is not a indicator that whether the medication is working well or not.

Itching is unrelated to any of the symptoms of the sexually transmitted infections too. So don’t worry and take a proper course of medications.
If I were your treating dermatologist then would have give n you an anti-histamine tablet such as cetrizine for the relief from the itching.

In case if the itching increases then can discuss all the options with a dermatologist to get earliest relief.
