Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Indicate Symptoms Like Night Sweats, low Grade Fever, itchy Legs And A Stiff Neck?
I am experiencing strange symptoms- night sweats (for about 6 months now), low grade fever occasionally, and I am constantly fighting infections. I also have itchy legs and a stiff neck. I have no idea what this could be and I am a teacher and coach, which makes getting off of work very difficult.
Hello! I read carefully your query and understand your concerns. There are many conditions that can cause the symptoms you describe. I suggest to consult a physician because you need a complete evaluation. Detailed medical history is needed and a careful physical examination. It is important to know if during your life you have ever been exposed to HIV infection (I mean unprotected intercourse with partners for which you don't know their HIV status).
If I were your treating doctor I would advise to do some tests including: -Complete blood count test. -Urinalysis. -Blood sugar (to exclude Diabetes) -HIV test . -TBC skin test. Once excluded this causes I would think other possibilities.
So my advise is to consult a physician and get examined as soon as possible.
Hope my answer has helped. Take care Dr.Rovena
