What Does High Cortisol When Suffering Form PCOS Indicate?

Hello there, I just want some advice really. I have hypothyroidism. I am really struggling to loose weight. I m 24. In sept I had my yearly blood test and my GP did the ovarian test is it the CA125 it is called? That came back high but nothing bad. He said to me I have PCOS. Large ovaries I had/have. I went to the hospital to see the hormone Doctor/s and I had a load of bloods done there and everything came back normal my thyroid levels, the PCOS levels apart from the cortisol. Then I had to have checks for that, then they came back normal a few months later. So this is a few months back. I still am confused I got told the scans showed PCOS and the cortisol was high, then it seems to go normal?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi, I did review your concern. Coincidentally i recently came across a similar case. I would advice you to consult a endocrinologists and get your adrenal glands in abdomen and pituitary gland in brain investigated. First you will be required to give blood for some hormone assays. I am suspecting cushings disease. Also let me know if you have noticed unusual pigmentation in any part of your body especially knuckles or neck or hands? I will be waiting for your response. I hope this helps.
wish you a healthy life ahead.
