what does it mean when a tech tells you your gestational sac is shaped funny? keep in mind i am pregnant does that mean that my baby will be smaller then average when delivered?

welcome to healthcaremagic.com.Gestational sacs are usually regular,eccentric,surrounded by good decidual reactions meaning pregnancy is normal.If the shape is irregular,not surrounded by good decidual reaction,no fetal pole after 7 weeks,no heart beat after 7 weeks it means pregnancy is not progresssing well.Size of gestational sac has to correspond to expected weeks of gestation if not fetal growth delay.
