What Does Fluttering In Artery On Right Side Of Neck Indicate?

I just experienced a fluttering in the artery on the right side of my neck. I checked the pulse in my left wrist at the same time and it was normal. The fluttering stopped after a few minutes. Do I need to see a doctor about this. I ve never experienced this before. I am a 48 year old male 5 9 185lbs. Recently diagnosed Type 2 diabetic.

Hi welcome to hcm..
It could be normal so do not worry..if you have repeated episodes,dizzy spells,weakness then go to emergency room immediately.Get an ECG,2 D ECHO as a part of routine checkup of your heart.monitor bp regularly.consult cardiologist regularly.thankyou
