General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
From the ultrasound report you have furnished, it states that the bulky uterus is because of multiple masses present diffusely due to hypertrophied myometrium (muscle mass).
It would be advisable to investigate further by means of ultrasound guided biopsy and histopathological examination, which will tell what exactly the lesions are. Along with it, CT scan of pelvis may also be needed to narrow down the diagnosis.
Following this, appropriate treatment can be planned and executed.
It appears at this stage that treatment for such a condition could be most probably hysterectomy (removal of uterus).
Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
