What Does Enlarged RVF Uterus With Single Intra Uterine Gestational Sac With Fetal Echo Mean?

Hello Doctor,
I had an US saying RVF uterus is enlarged with the presence of a single intra-uterine gestational sac with fetal echo seen inside. CRL measures 13 mm. EGA 7w + 4 days
Chorionic tissue is seen all around with a sub-chorionic seperation measuring 15 X 3 mm.
What does this mean?
Thanks

Welcome to Health care magic.

1. Your scan result appears normal findings apart from the sub-chorionic collection / separation.
2.RVF - retroverted form of uterus - which is the variant / type how the uterus is seen, its tested backwards in relation to the bladder ( not to worry).
3.There is a gestational sac seen in the uterus with foetal pole with heart rate - which is a good sign and confirmatory for viable pregnancy.
4.CRL - crown rump length ( head to toe length ) measuring 13 mm which corresponds to 7 weeks and 4 days.
5.Chorionic tissue around with separation measuring 15x3 mm, needs to followup in the next scan.
6.This separation is seen due to haematoma / bleed in most of the cases. Suggest a followup scans. Good luck.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
