Dear patient
Arthroscopy is a procedure in which with the help of small portals and scopes surgery is done similar to laparoscopy. Clavicle is your collar bone. Distal claviculectomy means part of outer end of clavicle was removed. Shoulder joint is made up of upper end of humerus and Glenoid cavity of scapula bone. This both are held together by fibrous tissue which is known as rotator cuff. You had tear in total or cuff which was repaired. Acromioplasty is removal of outer part of acromion process. Subacromion decompression is process in which space below acromion is freed of fibrous tissue by its removal. Release of coracoacromial ligament means cutting of ligaments connecting coracoid process and acromion process. They both are part of shoulder blade bone.
