What Does Dark Spots In X Ray Suggest?

hello i am a little concerned my mother had fallen a while ago on her shoulder .. she was experiencing pain and decided to go to the dr... the dr.took an xray and saw 5 dark spots and does not know what it could be so he ordered her to have a bone marrow test done...what does this mean_

Thanks for writing in.

Sending in an image of the X ray taken is suggested as complete analysis can be done only after knowing the size and location of the black spots. Technically dark sports are places where the bones have rarefied and become lytic. The mineral component is decreased in these areas for various reasons. It is also important to know if she has any other contributing medical conditions. Bone marrow test gives the pathological results of the cells inside the bone and might help to establish a diagnosis.
