What Does Cystic Gliosis In My MRI Report Suggest?

What does cystic gliosis mean? I was assaulted in 2008 by my ex husband I am off balance and fall a lot, have headaches and moody.y MRI brain scan states: There is cystic gliosis in the frontal lobe from prev insult There is resultant ex vacua dilatation of the frontal horn of the left lateral ventricle, Brain stem and cerebellum normal Cranio cervical junction and proximal cervical spinal cord normal pituitary fossa and orbits normal paranasal sinuses normal

Hi
I havee gone through your Mri brain findings.as injury in our skin heals with fibrous scar, in brain also any hemorrage/ contusion heals with gliosis (its like scar in skin).as it have appearence of fluid with cystic spases its called cystic gliosis.as there is reduced brain parenchyma because of scar , compensary chages like dilatation of adjacent frontal horn is seen called exvacuo dilation.nothing to worry by seeing these terminalogy.it is a scar just like as u see in skin.
