What Does Constant Eating And Pain All Over Body Indicate?

For some time, I have been concerned about my husband s health. Most nights, after dinner, he involuntarily vomits. Otherwise, he eats CONSTANTLY. He has pain all over his body, gets sudden headaches and sweats when he gets the headache. He works nights, and has a very hard time sleeping. He has no doctor, other than a dentist, and refuses to get one. Is there anything you can think of that could be an issue for him? He also spends a lot of time on the toilet, and I mean more than the usual amount, but I should say he eats tons of fiber at work(fiber one bars, fiber one brownies, etc.). I am just looking for a direction to go in. His father died of unknown origin carcinoma abut 20 years ago. He went for a physical for his current job and was told he needed to be tested for his cancer risk, but never was. This is my greatest fear. That he will contract cancer and we will lose him.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for reference,
1. The symptoms of eating constantly and vomiting are also the symptoms of eating disorder like (Bulimia nervosa etc). But it cannot be diagnosed solely on this basis. But as you mentioned other symptoms like headache, and sweats with headache, sleeping difficulty etc.
So there is a possibility of functional psychiatric problem and it will be very appropriate if he takes a psychiatric consultation. He may first visit a physician to rule out any other cause of vomiting etc.

2. As your concern for Carcinoma is concerned, his father was having it ,is not a strong ground for suspicion. Unless you see a symptom/sign you should not be worried about it.

3. To allay your anxiety you can tell your concern to the physician and he may do some screening tests to rule out the possibility and to remove your fear.

Thanks
