What Does Bright Yellow And Orange Diarrhea With Pain In Right Side And Back With Nausea And History Of Gallbladder Removal Mean?

I have had BRIGHT yellow/orange burning diarrhea along with pain in my right side that radiates to my back for 2 months now. I get very nauseous and vomit sometimes too. It seems to happen after I eat ANYTHING at all and it happens quickly. I can t eat anything without being close to a bathroom. I had my gallbladder removed over a year ago so I know it s not that. I have been to the urgent care doctor s numerous times and they always do blood work (which comes back with my ALK PHOS elevated but nothing else), 2-3 bags of LRS and an RX for Reglan or Zofran. It helps for a while (a few days) but then comes back. I ve tried diet modification, no alcohol, no caffeine, etc... Nothing works and I m about to loose my job because I ve had to call out sick so much. My boss said one more time and I m out. I can t get in to see my gastro doctor for 2 weeks. HELP!!! Also, I ve never used this site before, if you think you know what s wrong can you prescribe anything or will I just have to wait for my regular doctor to do so???

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Since the gall bladder has already been removed the causes for your nausea, vomiting and diarrhea with burning are related to other causes.
This is interesting to see that your Alkaline Phosphatase has always been raised in the investigations the rest being normal.
This along with the history of gall bladder removal indicates obstruction to the bile flow with other symptoms.
Hence I would advise you the following in the following situation:
First of all get the Ultrasonography of the abdomen and followed by MRCP to get the cause and get treated accordingly.
You may also need ERCP to get the cause and probably removal of the retained stone and put in the stent.
This will relieve all your symptoms.
I find this answer helpful
