What Does Bright Light In The Field Of Vision Indicate?
i have been seeing bright lights around the edges of my eyes; they move when i move my eyes. This comes and goes for the past two days. Happens several times in the day; see shadows sometime also, making me turn my head thinking i saw something out the corner of my eye.. no pain, no dizziness, or nausea with this.
The bright lights that you see in your vision are called floaters indicate an ophthalmic condition. It could be a benign condition caused by a degenerative change in a clear gel that fills the space between the lens and the retina of the eyeball called vitreous humour, that condition appears with advanced age, in that case you should ignore them. But if you have a medical condition like high blood pressure, diabetes or you're taking any sort of blood thinner you should visit a doctor as soon as possible because there's the possibility of retinal bleeding which is a serious condition. Also if you have symptoms like eye pain, loss of side vision, sudden increasing in floaters number or you have flashes you should see a doctor.
Hope I answered your question Wish you a speedy recovery Best regards Dr. Noor Farid
