What Does Blood Clot In MRI Indicate?
I had fna of my thyroid 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am prone to hematomas and blood clots. Still have a lemon size bruise and bruising and swelling below. White circle where needle went in and a hard lump the size of a pea. Went to er 2 days after procedure had mri because of swelling and bruising said there was a smal amount of blood. Could this be turning into an abcess?

After any procedures slight bleeding is common. You may have some extravasation of blood at time of needling.
It may lead to haematoma formation. You should not worry about that. Just apply some ice. It will be absorbed within few days.
