Hello, I have an eye exam with a opthampscope and was told that I had healthy eyes. I was then persuaded to have a digital image of my eye and paid for this. When I was apprehensive, the practioner said that this would be fine because the back of my eye was good. When he looked at the image he said I had bleeding at the back of both eyes. He explaned nothing but has reall scared me. He said I needed afull check ou at the doctors and to see an consultant. He then said 'goodbye' I am none the wiser but confused and terrified. I thought you could see these probelsm from an examaination with an opthamascope. HELP ME PLEASE!
I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having bleeding in the back of the eyes. This indicates bleeding in the retina or in the vitreous. This is usually seen in systemic diseases like diabetes, hypertension.... This can be made out by indirect ophthalmosocpy. You need to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment.
Hope the information is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you With regards
