What Does Bleeding In Teeth And Sore Tongue With Fever Indicate?

My son is 2 years old and he's been having a fever 100-102 for the past few days. And tonight we brushed his teeth and it started bleeding a lot and he was crying cause it gutted when we brushed. He also has a sore on his tongue. What could be wrong with him?

thanks for your query, the bleeding from the teeth could be because of the gum infection, the soreness of the tongue could be because of aphthous ulecrs or herpes virus infection..consult your oral physician and get the teeth cleaned ad maintain oral hygiene. you can use topical analgesic and anesthetic...i hope my answer will help you take care..
