What Does Black Spots In Intestine Indicate?

hello, my son is 3 and a half years old and been positive for C-Diff. He has taken Flagyl 3 times, vancamison once and just finished a different antibiotic for it all those since february. He had a colonoscopy done yesterday and the one down his throat but it shows black spots in his intestines/ esophagus. is it something to be alarmed about? we are only going to get the results from the biopsy tuesday, but his mom and I are very concerned because his GI doctor really didnt give us any answers. Your answer would really be appreciate it

Hi, I did review your concern
The black spots can be sometimes clotted blood from the c.diff infection your son had. Although the definite result can only be relied upon by the biopsy result which is the surest way to rule out any unwanted thing which at this age the chances are very very low.
I hope this helps.
Wish your son and your family healthy life ahead.
