What Does Anteroapical Infraction In Echocardiography Suggest?

I am Md. Motahar Hossain with 44 years old and 75 kg. In 2007, 10th June i was attracted by heart attack, after that i was OK till 4 years.now i am felling with a tremendous problem (seems to me someone squeezing my chest) i can't walk for a long time for my pain and after a few rest i am ok and ready to walk. i am now under the patient of Prof. M. Nazrul Islam(Pro.of Cardiology, BSM Medical Uni, DHAKA). MY ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY report is that:2D and M-Mode:IVST=09mm LVPWT=08mm LVIDd=61mm LVIDs=49MM FS=19% LVEF=46% Impression 1. Inferior and anteroapical infarction 2. LV dysfunction

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Your present 2D Echo report is sequelae of previous heart attack.
Heart attack is basically decreased blood supply to the heart due to block in coronary artery. So the area of heart which is supplied by blocked vessel, becomes less functioning and appears infarcted in2 D Echo.
This causes improper function of heart muscle which is known as LV dysfunction.
So in the past, your heart attack damage anteroapical wall of left ventricle.
So in present report this wall is seen infarcted and dysfunction of left ventricle due to this can be seen.
So start betablockers, ACE inhibitors and diuretics for better control of your symptoms.
