What Does An Indentation On The Right Knee Cap Indicate?

Medical Question: I have a significant indentation on my right knee cap, and on the top/right of the knee cap. I also have an indentation on my left knee cap, and on the top/ left of that knee cap. I am 49 years old, weigh 150 pounds, I am 5 1 tall. I have no adverse medical history.

if the indentation is causing any pain, difficulty in movement or any sort of reduced potential to carry out work, you can get an Orthopeadic consultation. If there are no underlying physical symptoms, you may consult for cosmetic reasons. An X-ray, could be done to diagnose early symptoms of osteoarthritis if present.
