What Does An Area Of Intrauterine Bleed On USG Mean?

I am 6wks 4days pregnant. I am planning a medical termination. I started cramping and bleeding yesterday but passed no tissue. I have not been bleeding today but the cramping is still present. I just had an ultrasound. The embryo was visible as well as the yolk sac. Fetal pull was also evident. The technician said there was an area of intrauterine bleeding. What does this mean? Will I spontaneously abort? Can I follow through with my plan for a medical abortion? Will I need a clinical abortion instead?

Hi welcome to HCM....

You are having baby inside and cramping ad bleeding started so likely to be aborted ....
But here abortus products not coming outside womb ..
So better to go for medical or surgical abortion under gynecologist observation .....

For medical abortion mifepristone and misoprostol can be used ....

In surgical approach manual vaccum aspiration MVA or D& E useful procedure ....

So rather than waiting for spontaneous abortion , consult gynecologist for abortion....

After abortion follow up USG done for rule put complete abortion after 12 to 15 days ....
