What Does A White Spot In Heat Indicate In An Anomaly Scan?
hello doctor, my wife is 20 week pregnant. today doctor has done anomaly scan. everything is fine except one white spot detected in heart. earlier we had done combined test , everyhting is fine.Doctor told us not to worry as all other reports are normal. please advise us what does it mean and is it harfull?

Echogenic foci or a whilte spot in the heart can be a normal variant.. If such a thing is seen, you need to get a detailed 4D anomaly scan along with a fetal echo.. If every thing is normal you need not worry.. Just follow up every month.. White spot can be a normal variant but if this is seen, any associated anomaly should be ruled out.. So you need not worry..
