What Does A Swollen And Red Circular Rash On Skin Indicate?
My boyfriend has a mysterious reddish swollen shape inside a circle or circular like shape could he have caught an illness. He has symptom s of maybe feeling sick, the place is itchy, and is forming a direct shape, it might be from inside his skin, maybe feeling hot or maybe feeling too hot. I think I have seen maybe a picture or a few picture s or a couple pictures of this kind of thing before, I don t know, I don t remember right now. Could this be a parasite? Could it be chronic? Could it be a serious illness? Could it be cause for concern? If so what one could it be and is it contagious to other part s of the body or to other s through exposure to contact?

Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
