General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Having painful enlarged lymph nodes indicates that you might be having some infection in nearby areas like scalp, ear, throat etc.
Consult your doctor and get examined for having this type of infection and go for the treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
