What Does A Raised And Discolored Mole On The Forearm Indicate?

I have had a mole come up on my fore arm, R, in the last 2 weeks. It is about the size of a pencil eraser. It is slightly discolored and raised. It is not perfectly round. I am a white female, 58 years old with lots of sun exposure on that arm. I used to deliver mail. Is this something I need to see my doctor about?

If this only appeared two weeks ago, then it isn't likely melanoma

That said, any lesion like this with irregular borders needs to be evaluated. It may just be a seborrheic keratosis which is benign, but that takes clinical evaluation to determine
