What Does A Pea Sized Knot Behind The Ear Indicate?

I have a pea sized knot behind my left ear, above lower jawbone. It is not painful. It feels hard, almost like bone. I have also been having immense pressure in my temples, ears and throat for the past 6 months off and on. Could this all be related and, if yes, what could it be? TMJ problem?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
It does not seems to be a TMJ problem.
the swelling if pea sized and felt separately and easily palpable then it could be a separate thing other than the pressure in the ears.
The pressure thing could be because of the negative pressure on the ear drum .
You should consult an ENT specialist as examination of Ear nose and Throat is required in your case. There is nothing to worry about but examination is required.
In doubt do reply
