What Does A Lump On Forehead Indicate?
My 9 1/2 month daughter has a lump in the soft tissue of her forehead on the left side. it doesn t bother her at all...I think it bothers me more. Is this something that I should be worried about. She has had it for as long as I can remember. Her pediatrician says I shouldn t worry about it...but being a new mom of course I am going to worry. Thanks you.

Hi, the lump you have mentioned could be lipoma most likely. If so there is nothing to bother. If there is cosmetic hindrance then it can be removed with simple procedures like excision. Look for any increase or decrease in its size while crying, sudden increase or bleeds which should then be consulted immediately.
